Dune is an awesome game. My friends and I network our computers and play against each other all night. It's amazing how fast time flies when you're wrapped up in a war game with a bunch of buddies. My strategy is simple. Harvest as much as spice as possible and build up as many things before I make an all out attack. Oh yeah, it's important to send out troops to scout around so you know where the enemy bases are.
In a major deal, Tor Books and Hodder & Stoughton (UK) have contracted with Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson for more DUNE novels. The deal includes:
The two-volume "grand climax" to the DUNE chronicles, HUNTERS OF DUNE and SANDWORMS OF DUNE, based directly on the "Dune 7" outline written by Frank Herbert;
THE ROAD TO DUNE, a compendium of never-before-published chapters from DUNE and DUNE MESSIAH, and original stories and a short novel written by Brian and Kevin.
THE ROAD TO DUNE will be published in the interim while Brian and Kevin are writing HUNTERS and SANDWORMS. As part of the contract, Tor Books has also included the first volume in the "Paul of Dune" trilogy.

carry this picture for luck.
Kept in your locket, tucked in your collar, close to your chest.
Make it a secret shown to the closet friends.
Meet me at quarter to 7.
The sun will still shine then at this time of year.
Well head to the inlet and we'll share a bottle there
And color the coast with your smile.
Its the most genuine thing I've ever seen.
I was so lost and now I believe.
And follow me south of the big docks with the big boats,
And teather the boats with rich men revere are so important.
They hire our fathers to stear.
And down to the edge of the water, We'll spill our guts and we'll leave our fears.
I'll give you this picture and keep it and dont be scared,
And color the coast with your smile.
Its the most genuine thing I've ever seen.
I was so lost and now I believe.
I believe in the coast.
Your smile its the most genuine thing I've ever seen.
I was so lost and now I believe
Now I believe
alright now being the huge fan of Dune I am, I'd just like to say that Brian Herbert has succeeded his father far better than I anticipated. Homie is just as good (if not better, in my oppinion) and these books are amazingly great. Never read, or even heard of Dune? Check out the books (start at butlerian, and work your way up to Frank...) and watch the movies, hell... play the games!
sleep with all the lights on, you're not so happy you're no secure. And you're kind of cute in your blue jeans, with the plastic just like everyone, just like everyone. And the face you paint is bbest impressing, most of us is permenance. But i'd like to see you undone.
First star I see, may not be.. a star. Can't do a thing but wait, so lets wait.. for one more. and the times such clumsy time, in deciding if it's time. I'm careful but not sure how it goes, you can lose yourself in your courage. when the time we have now ends, and when.. the big hand goes round again, can you still feel the butterflies? can you still hear them last through the night?
when it's all said and done, i tried my best. unless the rest was a test, could've never guessed. couldn't ever win so in the future i quit, all noise is shit. don't just take what you can get. gotta keep my calm don't go throwin fits, i'm a tickin bomb duck when the shit splits.
